RD7 rotary actuator to automate changeovers wirelessly

The RD7 rotary actuator from Lika Electronic is designed to wirelessly automate changeovers and adjustment operations in production lines. It can cut annual setup time by 84% and easily replace existing position indicators and manual handwheels with minimum time and cost.

• Simplified commissioning and control via wireless communication
• Up to 32 units can be controlled by a single transceiver simultaneously
• No need for communication cables
• A variety of models and accessories ensures an ideal fit every time

Typical application sectors of the RD7 positioning unit are changeovers in packaging and bottling lines, filling machines, pharmaceutical equipment, and food processing machinery.
It is also ideally suited for the replacement of handwheels and position indicators when retrofitting outdated plants.

Rugged and High Accuracy ASC85 and C85 Encoders

ASC85 absolute and C85 incremental encoders from Lika Electronic are designed for robust and very accurate operation under rough conditions and mechanical stresses.
Their very high resolution and accuracy fit perfectly demanding applications such as robotics and military equipment.

• AISI 303 stainless steel enclosure and large 50 mm / 1.9685" thru-bore shaft
• ASC85 absolute and C85 incremental versions
• Up to 25 bit absolute and up to 10,000 PPR incremental resolutions
• Accuracy ±0.005°

Typical fields of use for these encoders include robotic systems, military and defence applications, radars and antennas, motor feedback systems, advanced industrial machinery and a variety of resolution- and accuracy-critical applications.

Our range of draw wire encoder

Any encoder driven by a draw wire can replace a standard encoder in many applications. Lika Electronic offers a complete range of draw-wire encoders. They can be optical or magnetic, with incremental, absolute or analogue outputs (a potentiometer can also be incorporated).

• Measuring lengths can be 300 mm (0.984 ft), 1 m (3.28 ft), 1.5 m (4.92 ft), 2 m (6.56 ft),
  5 m (16.4 ft), 10 m (32.8 ft), and longer, up to 50 m (164 ft)
• Any type of encoder can be integrated: incremental, absolute, fieldbus, Ethernet, analogue
(including potentiometer), ATEX, special models for individual applications
• Resolution down to 0.01 mm / 10 µm
• Speed up to 10 m per second / 32.8 ft per second

Typical applications are mobile equipment and construction machinery (outriggers, stabilisers, arches), telescopic cranes, excavators, forklifts, guided vehicles, agricultural and forestry machinery and equipment, scissor lifts, car lifts, loading platforms, warehouses, electro-medical equipment (scanners, operating and examination tables, hospital beds, dentist's chairs, etc.).

SME9 incremental encoder, accurate and versatile for linear and rotary applications

SME9 high-speed incremental encoder from Lika Electronic is perfect for demanding motion control needs in linear motors and printers and offers an accuracy better than 10 µm at very fast speeds up to 100 m/s.

• Accuracy better than 10 µm
• Travel speed up to 100 m per second
• IP67 protection rate
• Push-Pull TTL and Line Driver RS-422 outputs
• Resolution down to 20 nm

It is compact and rugged with either plastic or zinc die cast housing and its IP67 protection rate enables installation in harsh industrial environments. The magnetic and contactless operation is insensitive to dust, moisture, oil, contaminants, and vibrations.

Rotary and linear encoders with Panasonic® RS-485 interface

Rotary kit encoders AMM36, AMM5B, and AMM80 as well as linear encoders SMA2 and SMA21 from Lika Electronic can be equipped with the Panasonic® RS-485 interface in addition to the well-established SSI and BiSS C-mode interfaces.

The main advantages of integrating the Panasonic® interface are full compatibility, simplified connection, and ease of interfacing with PLCs, controllers, drives, and several industrial feedback devices from Panasonic®.

Products with integral Panasonic® RS-485 interface are most popular in Asia but widespread all over the world and are typically used in linear motors, cutting machines, product handling equipment, pick & place lines, and storage systems.

MIK36 and MSK36 bearingless encoders for rough jobs

MIK36 and MSK36 are shaftless and bearingless encoders capable of reliably and safely withstanding the most aggressive environmental conditions.
They are available in both incremental and absolute versions.

• Heavy-duty rotary encoders designed with separate rotor/stator
• Bearingless, shaftless, robust construction
• Non-contact, wear- & failure-free operation
• IP67 / IP68 protection with sealed electronics
• Perfect for rough applications
• Incremental version, resolution up to 20,000 PPR
• Absolute version, SSI interface, resolution up to 18 bits

MIK36 and MSK36 are encoders exceptionally well suited for the harshest industrial environments and the most severe applications including mining and oil field equipment, steel mills, marble, stone, and glass working machinery, utility vehicles, and construction equipment.
